- Coverage- 1.56 - 2.19m² per 500ml.
- Drying times- Dust Free 5 - 10minutes, Touch Dry 10 - 20 minutes, Overcoatable after 24 hours, Resistant to heat after 8 - 12 hours
- The drying time depends on temperature, humidity and the thickness of the applied coat.
Passivate Protection Passive8 weld through 500ml Aerosol Surface Preparation
- Before application, ensure that the mixing balls in the aerosol are moving freely as this ensures that the zinc content is being physically mixed into the paint.
- The surface must be free from all contamination including rust, grease and moisture
- Before use, carefully read and note the warning text on the label.
- When mixing unknown products or different brands always do a test patch to test for reactions.

- This product is 100% free of heavy metals and the caps and packaging are made of recyclable material
- Completely emptied cans should be put in recycling skips or an appropriate container.
- Cans which are not empty should be disposed off as special refuse.

Super quality paint with excellent coverage, the capacity of the aerosol seems limitless! Consistent flow rate from start to empty, the only thing I noticed on a very long run was a build up which then dripped onto the panel. The paint has excellent flow though and no evidence once dry

Really impressed with this primer. Great coverage and good adherence. The can it’s in also gives a really good spray pattern almost as good as a spray gun.

Hi Craig, I used the Passive 8 yesterday. Wow, very easy to spray and leaves a nice finish. Worked great on my Stainless Steel 32 year old Subaru silencer back box. I will definitely buy again.

Use it on every single restoration from now on here at Rusty Customs.
Works great as an internal primer for welding outer sills etc, then hit them with zero prep cavity wax for total coverage.
