These kits include various paints.
All kits come with 1x 500ML Passive 8 90% Zinc Aerosol.
Gloss Black, and Satin black are out 500ML trade sprays.
DTM, and all 2K options are premium 400ML Aerosols.
2K DTM is a tougher, higher grade finish of "DTM"
Once activated the 2K aerosols can be reliably used up to 1 hour from activating
Preparation
- Remove loose rust and existing paint
- Use Buzzweld Purge to clean the prepared surface of contaminants (included in kit) with a suitable cloth/scour and then wipe clean.
- Mask off and protect all surrounding areas and equipment
Application
- using a steady motion spray from side to side until the first coat of Passive8 primer has fully covered the item. Leave until touch dry (10>30 minutes typically), and apply the second coat.
- Leave item to cure for 1>2 hours until product has hardened (in low temperatures, or poor ventilation this time can increase considerably)
- As above with the primer, use the top coat finishing aerosol to apply your first coat. Allow to touch dry for 5>20 minutes depending on conditions before applying your final top coat.
Note. Should the finish become contaminated with debris, or dust simply allow the finish to cure and lightly refinish with 240 grit wet and dry. Passive8 apply once flat and dry.

Very good paint and primer.
The primer was very easy to use, the Raptor ended up quite lumpy and has a bumpy/rippled effect which looks very rugged but not as smooth as i had hoped. Thankfully on the Land Rover it still looks more than appropriate

Great product, easy to apply if you follow the instructions and a good finish. Applied to my Defender cross member. Looks better than new.

You get 2 paint sprays in the kit but I didn't need the grey undercoat as the original paint was not that bad.
The buzzweld did a great job and the paint finish looks good.
The service and delivery from buzzweld was also fantastic so I would recommend it to anyone.

Having read the product details prior to purchase and comparing with other similar offerings, the buzzweld kit was the one I selected.
Preparation was undertaken as recommended and the paints applied accordingly. I had no issues whatsoever and the completed job is exactly what I was hoping for.
Looking forward to years of no rust.

Used the rust encapsulater to my cross member which gives an excellent coverage and finish. This gives a great base for the FXLiner and creates a superb factory look finish. I left it to harden for a couple of days before rebuilding the back end and the surface was really tough. Will use again if required, the best coating I have used to gate, hopefully it will last longer, time will tell.
